App license

Apple's Standard EULA governs your license to the App Store app. This page explains AR Universe's features, subscriptions and support; it does not replace that agreement or limit mandatory consumer rights. Apple's applicable purchase terms also apply to Apple-billed transactions.

AR scenes and device requirements

AR Universe is a creative camera app for placing virtual planets and celestial effects in your surroundings. Eclipses, orbital motion and weather effects are illustrative and may be accelerated or stylized. The app does not identify real stars, predict eclipses, forecast weather or provide navigation.

AR features require camera permission and a compatible device. Recording quality and performance depend on your device, available storage, lighting and temperature. Stay aware of your physical surroundings while using AR. The app is not equipment for viewing the real Sun; never point your eyes at the Sun without suitable protection.

Free features and Pro subscriptions

Free features can be used without subscribing. Where available, an optional yearly AR Universe Pro subscription unlocks the Pro features listed in the app's purchase screen during an active entitlement. Eligible previous monthly subscriptions and lifetime purchases retain access.

The full price, currency and billing period shown by the App Store before confirmation apply to your purchase. The yearly plan is billed for one year at a time. A yearly plan is paid in full, not in monthly installments. Availability and prices may vary by storefront.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal. Apple may process a renewal charge within the 24 hours before the current period ends, so cancel at least 24 hours beforehand to avoid the next renewal. The Apple subscription screen shows the applicable dates and options.

Manage or cancel renewal in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or use the link below. Deleting the app does not cancel renewal. Restore purchases from the Pro screen using the purchasing Apple Account. Refund requests for Apple-billed purchases are handled by Apple, subject to its policies and your applicable consumer rights.

Your creations and third-party material

You keep the rights you hold in your own original photos and videos. Respect the privacy and rights of people you record, and only share content you have permission to use. App software and included source assets remain subject to their respective licenses; creating an export does not transfer ownership of those underlying assets.

Image-source and license credits are available in the app. AR Universe is an independent app; use of scientific source imagery does not imply endorsement by its source organizations.

Saved work and service changes

Saved scenes are stored locally. Keep separate copies of exports you want to retain and manage device backups. Removing the app or changing devices may affect access to local work. Features may change with app updates and device support; this does not remove any rights you have under applicable law.
